Moonlight Shadow

Moonlight Shadow turns 3 years old today! :D

Moonlight Shadow was born from the ashes of a guild called Conquerors of Shambala, a casual guild that had soap-opera quality drama baggage attached to it. After a nasty split and disbanding, the guild as we know it today was born, and we have been growing in numbers, levels, friendship, power and skill as each month passes.

As we are beginning to form as a steady 10-man raiding guild over the next few weeks, and an exciting new expansion on the horizon, we have a lot to look forward to and be thankful for.  :D

Thanks to all the guild members, from level 1 to level 80,  newcomers to Warcraft and those who have been playing since Vanilla, from all around the country and even the world. Here’s to an awesome 3 years, and many more awesome years to come!

Last night we cleared Naxxramas for the first time as a guild, suffering only one full wipe the whole night. Congratulations to everyone! :D

ALSO! IMPORTANT!

It is now a requirement that you have Deadly Boss Mods installed into your Addons folder, and Ventrilo installed on your computer, if you want to raid.

We have a special ability that lets us see who has DBM, and who doesn’t, so don’t think you can sneak away without it. If we see you in a raid group without this mod or Vent, you have 5 minutes to download and install. If you don’t, we will replace you.

You are not required to speak in Vent, not everyone has a microphone. But you must be able to hear strategy rundowns if you are new to the encounter.

NO EXCEPTIONS FOR DEADLY BOSS MODS!

After many weeks of wipes and frustrations, Thaddius went down last night in our best Naxx night yet!

After having to postpone on Tuesday due to server instability (30 minutes alone trying to zone into ToC!), we hit up Naxx on Wednesday with renewed vigor.

We slaughtered the Arachnid quarter in record time, facerolled Patchwerk, executed a near perfect downing of both Grobbulus & Gluth, and then finally took on Thaddius and won! After that we headed into uncharted territory and took down Noth the Plaguebringer before calling it a night.

We had no full group wipes, and only a few individual deaths all evening. Congrats to all! :D

Next stop… The Heigan Dance! ……Dear lord this is gonna be interesting…..

Downed section is updated with our 2 new Naxx bosses, and including the holiday boss Coren Direbrew… who I think is easier at 80 then he was at level 70 last year. O_o

That’s right folks we’re hitting up Naxxramas and hitting it up hard. Be on your game start inquiring on Raid potions and Food buffs. Start saving up your gold for the repeated wipes we may or may not encounter and get your game face on. This is going to be hard, it’ll be rough. But then again nothing [epic] ever comes easy right?

Bullhulk and I have -both- posted valuable tools and resources on taking down the bosses of Naxxramas. Your Job? Go watch the vids, read the strats, look for descriptions of what your job is supose to be, and get prepared to do your best. Wow is a game, yes? Games are fun, yes? Then let’s have fun doing this.

VITAL INFORMATION

Just to keep in mind YOU -WILL- NEED Ventrilo for this raid.  If we’re calling out incomings or need assistance it’s very important to have fast communication. Normally on non-schedualed raid days we’re more then happy to do stuff and joke around in Vent just chatting. However when a schedualed raid is going on, if you are -not- in that raid then please do not join the channel to chat with us, while we adore talking to you we do need the vent space cleared to keep in communication with the group.

To get Vent go to www.ventrilo.com It is free to use if someone is paying for the server. Information on the vent server we’re using can be found on the Guild information via the game. Btw TY to Disorderly for buying the Guild’s Vent in which some of us have fun times goofing off on.

I get dangerous when I get bored. And right now, I am bored.

I have decided to take up making 2 WoW based machinima movies, and I need friends and guildies to help me in the creation of the videos. :D

There are two ways you can participate in the video.

1) Live-Action. Contact Kiyokko and let her know you want to be part of the “live-action” cast. Your character will eventually be asked to act out a series of emotes or actions and will be filmed while doing so.

2) Submit screen shots. One of the videos require some still-shot images, so this is a quick simple way to get into the video. The only requirements are that your character or scene is centered in the picture, that your UI is turned off (by hitting Ctrl+Z to turn your UI off and on), the scene does NOT take place in Outland, and that player names are turned off. Other then that, go crazy! Send your pics to KiyokoInyotef[at]gmail.com, with your player name and a mention the pic is for the video. :D

All members who have signed up or handed in screenshots that are used will be credited in the film credits :D

I will post the videos here on the guild site once they have been completed.
